Checking in with a new playlist today after a *brief* absence, and we've got a killer guest list from our buddy Keith Scowden. We bonded over LCD Soundsystem and a pretty good story about Keith's dad at a Talking Heads show. Keith also gave us his top ten for our 2016 year end post, and now we're excited to share his first Best Case playlist with you.
Get outside! Keith's playlist goes great with porch-sitting, or supplying that faint tinge of sadness that makes driving with your windows down in the summer that much more enjoyable, and seems to add a layer of purpose to spending time in the car alone. We're still coming down from the summer solstice, so if you don't have plans to sit on a porch until 10 p.m. to soak up every last inch of sunlight tonight, what the hell are you doing!
More coming your way soon.
By Keith Scowden:
My cousin Jane Dandron created these phenomenal pieces. She set out to embody the emotion of "home" and what makes us "feel at home." With that in mind, I made a personal playlist full of songs that comfort me, and give me the feeling that I am exactly where I'm supposed to be. These are all songs that have significant meaning in my life, and have helped me through times of tough transitions and depression. Sorry it's so sad :/
